ToneHead is an ear training game that is both fun and challenging. Enjoy the adventure as you develop the skill to recognize the intervals of the major scale.
ToneHead is based on the notes we’ve all heard and sung in childhood: “Do, Re, Mi, Fa, So, La, Ti, Do”. The game begins with a frog jumping onto a lily pad and singing “Do”. A musical fly, who once upon a time swallowed a piano, travels across the screen and plays a note. Frogs sitting along the ledge are marked with the familiar “Do, Re, Mi” syllables. Tap the frog that matches the fly’s note and you feed the frog and win a gold star. If you tap the wrong frog, the frog jumps in the pond and you lose a frog token.
As you win games, you advance to more challenging levels. Like most frogs, you begin as an egg (9 levels), hatch into a tadpole (9 levels), get your legs as a froglet (9 levels), and, after eating enough flies, grow into an adult frog (9 levels). Once you achieve the last level as an adult frog, you are magnificent, a bona fide ToneHead.

“Anyone tuned into musical sounds--hobbyist, serious student, or professional artist/educator--will be fully engaged in helping these musical frogs catch their dinners, while simultaneously developing or sharpening personal listening skills. ToneHead supports traditional curricular aural training goals in a remarkably motivational game format, pedagogically designed to be recreational and rewarding for less-experienced listeners, yet providing increasingly challenging levels for advancing players.
“Be forewarned: Each time a final frog splashes into the water, youre likely to choose instantaneously, ‘Play Again!’ ”

ToneHead... it’s as easy as “Do, Re, Mi”. You only lose by not playing!
